Who Makes Those Windlight Skies? 0.o

I was taking snapshots yesterday using the windlight sky settings and noticed that the positions of the sun at dawn and at dusk are very inconsistent even so far as the sun setting in the south. Why is the sun's positions in many of the settings astronomically incorrect?

When you create a windlight setting you can move the sun to the position  you want it to be in.  You should be able to go to the Vermont editor and move it where you want it to be, but be aware that it will have an effect one what the wind light setting looks like.

Who make them?

You make them exactly the way you want them with sun direction, sun height, sunlight color, ambient color, clouds water, etc. etc.

It is any photographers dream to be able to do just that

I know I can make them. It's odd to me whom ever made the presets postioned the sun wrong.

Sun position wrong for what and to whom? When you look at a final picture, is there something that says, 'oh, that in a northerly view' therefore the sun shouldn't be there?

This would suggest that the rest of sl is somehow "right"....

One of the wonderful things about sl is that it can be made to look however we want it to. Most of those windlight settings aren't ones you'd see in rl either. So why should the sun, stars or moon position be any different?
