Something between a casual shoe and a dress shoe. A sneaker is too casual for that and belongs more with jeans but a formal style shoe would stand out too much.

With the chino style pants often a rustic/weathered darker brown leather goes well colour wise with maybe a style that looks like the bottom part of a hiking boot. The tough style thick leather with laces that have some eyelets yet some loops. This is a shoe though not a boot. In rl they are often heavy thick leather that is not an even shading all over with yellow/gold mixed with brown lacing.
