how to open boxes

I know how to get to Sand Island. And when I get there, there are several boxes around, but I don't know how to open them. I try to rt. click, but nothing happens. pls. help.

You can't open boxes that are just laying around on the ground.  They have to be YOUR boxes.

If they are vendors, clicking on them, or right clicking them and choosing Buy, should give you an offer of the box's contents.

The contents most likely are...another box!  If you try to wear something, and a sign or a box appears on your right hand, it's a "boxed item" and needs to be opened.
