Joining land

I have land that I am trying to join together that's side by side but it tells me I can't because it is owned by 2 different people and that's not true I own all of it.  What might I be doing wrong?

Group Ownership of one parcel is not the same thing as individual ownership of a second parcel. Make sure to deed the new parcel to the same group you have the other parcel deeded to and then you can join them together.
