Animations are all controlled on your own computer, not in SL's servers, so we each see animations a little differently.  Your computer may interrupt an animation when it it running another task -- receiving e-mail, downloading a file (an update, perhaps), or doing system maintenance (anti-virus checks, in particular).  Your animation can also stall if your Internet connection has problems.  That is especially common for people who make the mistake of using wireless for SL.  Wireless connections were never designed for the heavy, continuous flow of data that SL demands, and they are vulnerable to interference from cell phones, garage door openers, fluorescent light fixtures, and all sorts of "smart" appliances.  Finally, if the sim you are on is experiencing lag, animations can get seriously out of sync and stall or appear corrupted.  All of those potential problems can make your animations appear choppy and awkward.

In addition to those problems, you can have animations that interfere with each other.  Two animations in my AO always interfere with dance machine animations, for example, so I have to remember to turn my AO off before I start to dance.  There is a new LSL scripting function, designed to get around that problem, but it has been withdrawn temporarily and is not available.

The problem is fixed... it was in my Collar AO, and not the shoes. I turned off AO in collar and it fixed the issue. Thanks!
