FigeneVoot00 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I saw a sl video on twitter, and it was a couple having a baby in a hosptila. The hospital staff...docs and nurses. How do you become one of those? Same goes for all other occupations, like bakers, police, etc...
0 Marigold Devin Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 You can be pretty much what you want to be in Second Life, but the doctors, nurses, police, and politicians you might encounter in Second Life are rarely paid, it's more a roleplay. However, there are careers in Second Life, and people have made real life money out of their careers. Scripters, builders, DJs, photographers, those who have that magical special something and who work very very hard have managed to make a career in Second Life. If you like writing, and have not done so already, start a blog about the things that interest you. And jobs are sometimes advertised here on the forums. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Inworld-Employment/bd-p/InworldEmployment Other suggestions will follow. Please keep checking back here. 2
0 Freya Mokusei Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Well~ that's just a roleplay. Like playing "Doctor", all you need to do to play games like that is find enough tools and a nice enough setting that you can 'pretend' you're carrying out medical procedures. Buy a labcoat, stethoscope, find a patient who doesn't mind some invasive procedures, and away you go. A career is something you do professionally, for money or so. These kinda exist in SL, but typically require skills such as being able to entertain, sex acts, entertainment such as DJing or playing films or movies, or content creation. Whatever sells. Just don't expect to earn any money from either.
