Free Photoshop script for Green Screen

I came across this the other other day, and am amazed -- the free version makes removing  a greenscreen background so easy.   Well worth trying if you have Photoshop: http://www.photoshopgreenscreen.com/

I've just been doing a bit more poking round reseach and come across this free plugin for the free programme, Paint.NET.  It's almost as easy to use as the photoshop plug-in, and far easier than any of the manual techniques I've tried over the years (I think Paint.NET is Windows only, though).

I hope it can work better than it did for their "final result" example photo.  The people in that pic look VERY roughly cut out.  FIne hairs, frayed edges, and subtleties in perimeter shading all got nuked.  If I were to submit photos in that condition to my clients,  I'd get fired.

I hope it's just a badly done example, rather than indication of the inherent weakness in the plugin itselt.

You're the professional, of course.   All I can say is that, after tweaking the settings for a couple of minutes,  I was getting results I'd be happy with for my SL adverts (which isn't a particularly high standard, to be sure).

I would assume that eh plugin is just selecting similar colors to the one selected there for it won't get pixals close to the edges as it would be a shade or two off and might delete clothing of the same color. Autmated process have no way of telling the fine details the human eye can read. But again having not used this it's only my geuss.

VERY good plug-in for Adobe photoshop!  This makes it MUCH easier to do up product ads where I use a green screen.  Thanks for posting it!

doesn't appear to work anymore. in the description, it says that there is a free version but, no where to install it.

the "free trial".. adds these huge black grid lines to the photo.. it's sad too since this was an awesome plugin.
