Why do the blue pose balls disappear after you use them once?

I am new and trying to learn how to use the blue animation pose balls.  After I use them once, however, they disappear completely.  What gives?  Did I do something wrong?  When do they come back?  How do I get them back?

Remember that all content in SL is user-created. A user, just like you, wrote and built the script and poseball that you're using. There is no 'standard' poseball, only a variety of different poseball control scripts, all redistributed and modified by other creators before being sold.

It's not an exact science, and they can be poorly scripted. It's possible that this is the case with the ones you're using, and they're simply not set to reappear after you Stand from them.

Alternatively, you might be suffering connection slowness or have fallen afoul of the Interests bug. If right-clicking makes the ball appear again after standing, it's the Interests bug. If the script you're using definitely has a show command, and right-click doesn't reappear after standing, it's your connection.

Hi Joseph. Pose balls will disappear when you sit on them, they are still there but they are transparent. To change poses, you click on the item (furniture or mat) the balls are for. That will bring up a menu of poses, and sub menus oftentimes. If you get off the pose ball, sometimes it will disappear, in which case you click the furniture or mat again to reactivate it.

oh and in case you hadn't figured it out, dark blue is for top, and light blue is for bottom if it's not spelled out in hovering text.
