Sites for just SL chatting?

Hello, I would like to be able to chat with my friends with out having to be in-world. Are there any sites where I can do that? Something like Pocket Metaverse. It's kinda like text messaging but without the lag frm being inworld and you don't need to download the client when your on the go!~ :matte-motes-whistle:

You don't even need a special site or an app to to that, SLtester. You can chat with your friends in your feeds on your web profile. :smileyhappy:

Thank you! (I feel silly...:matte-motes-bashful:) Is there a way to figure out who's online like when your in world and the names highlighted are the ones online instead of going into every profile and seeing if they're on or not?

I am not aware of a way of knowing who is "online" on the web profiles. Lots of people post on the feeds without being inworld. It's not like the dashboard where you see who's inworld: this, you can check it any time. But maybe someone more familiar than me with the feeds will come with a better reply. (Plus, there is so reason to feel silly: there are no silly questions, only stupid answers! :smileywink::smileyhappy:).

Create a Yahoo account and give your yahoo name to all of your friends in SL. Have them create Yahoo accounts too, and you can chat with them and see when they're online through Yahoo.

When I'm on mobile I use Lumiya. It's an Andriod app and it's not free but I'm very happy with it. It's not a chat client per say but it does do chat very well.
