all l get is a arial view on my avatar wich is far  away, l cant get a back close view on my avatar so l always seem to be looking at the ground l movement and view in prefferences and camera control but nothing works im in pheonix firestorm viewer

on top of the link that gave you Lindal. 

there are some lil tricks to know for setting good your camera.

First reset it with SHIFT + ESC

then, you can refine the angle using CTRL + scroll mouse and SHIFT + scroll mouse. the first will move your angle view, the second one will settle the height .

Then you can adjust your cam, for example, like its just at the same height than your shoulders and with a horizontal view and not with an aerial one from the top of your head.
