Hi, I've been searching for sometime now for a Greeter system that allows my customers to select what information they require without being bombarded with everything at once whether wanted or not.  I'm trying to create a virtual customer service desk in my shop (rented), so they can touch and choose to receive the information they require via menu, eg. separate notecards giving instructions, company info etc; assorted landmarks, multiple URLs, join group etc.

Kira Komarov has a brilliant greeter http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Greeter, but on the surface, this script appears to only offer the option of giving just one notecard, one landmark etc and works by scanning, which I don't require, I prefer only my customers to choose only what they want, I don't wish the customers of neighbouring shops, land or sim to be spammed too.

Is this even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kindest regards,

Sennen Sands

It's certainly possible.  All you have to do is write a simple dialog script in which each dialog choice triggers the llGiveInventory command to hand out a different notecard.  Take a look in the LSL wiki for examples in the sections on llDialog and llGiveInventory.
