the question is easy to answer in the post..

there is no tollerance in sl for it..

for your title question?

"When is racism going too far"?

ok i'm gonna do this on the fly so bare with me..

When is racism going too far?

the second it's born..

the second it's taught..

the second it breathes..

the second it's thought..

the second it's used..

the second it's heard

the second it hurts..

that mean nasty word

it could be a name

written in a book

it could be as simple as a dirty look

it could be as harsh as the tear of my skirt.

the pull at my hair

the rip of my shirt..

it's a lie

a fear

sold as the truth

feeding ignorance

secured in it's booth

i cry  for the day

the rainbow appears

you know the one

where everyone wakes

 cleansed of thier  fears

when is racism going too far?

the second it's born and leaves a scar..

It goes to far when it offends someone. It doesn't necessarily have to be the target group, individual or belief.

in that case you'd best isolate yourself from the world, never say, write, or do anything at all, because someone, somewhere, at some point in time is likely to take offense.

In terms of SL that'd mean that LL had better just close down if they don't want anything to happen that might potentially offend someone, as it's certain to happen with whatever people do.

I've seen people get offended at pink clothes, supposedly it's deregatory to homosexuals. Chocolate is offensive to blacks, apparently, as is coffee (never met a black person who thinks that way, but there's enough people claiming they should be).

There's people offended by any display of anything that doesn't match their religious beliefs. There's people offended by the mere sight of a piece of human (especially female) skin, whether real of imaginary. There's people offended by the very existence of music and other entertainment.

There's of course people offended by commercial activity...

Yes people get offended over anything that can be imagined as you even state in your examples. It's sad how many people in the world are actually like that and all the education on tolerance can't save them all from being that close minded.

I don't see how you get LL should close down because of people getting offended. That makes no sense at all. Whether people get offended or someone offends, that's like, in 1st and 2nd and anyone offended in sl can either avooid things that offend them or if they feel it's against the TOS they can choose to AR it. Is this what you got from my sentence? That was not my suggestion.

well, for me, racism is going too far since the start... Racism is racism.. at every level its still racism.. and no acceptable for me.

the question itself makes no sense for me...

And about SL tos, they dont put any limits either. Racism remains racism.
