My Linden house is too big can I switch to a smaller one?

My Linden house is too big.  I would like to switch to a smaller house, it's this possible? If so,  what are the steps to switching?

You can change Linden Homes as many as five times a day if you like. To abandon your home, first be sure to pick up all your stuff.  Then, stand in the home, open World >> About Land (or click the Land button at the top of your screen) and click the Abandon Land button that's on the General page.  To get a new home, select it the way you selected the previous one.

Linden Homes are all more or less ther same size and they all fit on a 512 sq m parcel.  If you want a MUCH smaller home, then buy a parcel somewhere else and either build a house yourself there or buy a pre-made one from a builder to add to your parcel.  The 512 sq m land fee waiver that you get for being a Premium member will apply to your new parcel instead of the Lindon Home parcel that you abandoned.

That's the first time anyone ever asked THAT!  Everyone else thinks the Linden Homes are about as small as a shoebox.

The impression that all Linden homes are the same size is of course not true, the two-storey Meadowbrook homes being larger and by far the most popular and I suspect that is what you have. It is rare to see residents asking for a smaller home though. Sometimes, alternative Linden homes are thin on the ground so check regularly to find a particular type of home you want.
