Piraiyah Novikov
Hi.I have run into problems with the physics shape "disappearing" if I mess with the mesh in any way. I have built some very simple mesh walls with holes for both windows and doors etc. I also make my own physics models for them.Sometimes the physics disappear when I make a copy or simply resize them, but it really seems pretty much random. The prim count also reduces as if they go back to convex hull but they are still set as "Prim". There's no problem with the topology, flipped normals, holes or anything in the physics mesh itself. And they work fine at first after all. I use maya. What gives?
Aquila Kytori
Hi if 1: you're experiencing your mesh turning "phantom" have a look at this thread http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Mesh/Walkable-stairs/td-p/1986155 2: after resizing your walls appear to return to convex hull when really they are set to Physics shape type: Prim http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Mesh/Making-physics-HELP/td-p/1750777/page/2 3: wait for Drongle to wake up ............. Piraiyah Novikov
Thanks! It seems Drongle explains the problem further down in post #2.
