Im looking to get a custom Tattoo layer made up as im having trouble with clouding due to wearing 5 tattoo layers. Would really really like to chat with ppl who cold help buy creating a new single body layer for all my tattoos. I only have mod/copy on one of my tattoo layers, which i belive means that tattoo can be copyed into the new layer, but not certain. As for the others I understand that they cant be copyed but have found some RL ideas I would like to use/have created. I can supply all the details needed and pictures too.

Please please get in touch if you can help.

Thanks :matte-motes-smile:

Try posting over in the "Wanted" section of the forums for better repsonses.

That is not what "copy" means, by the way. It means that you can make a copy of the item in your inventory, so that you have two of them. The "mod" part means you can modify, or change, it - color, mostly. So that you can modify a copy of the tattoo rather than modifying the original, in case you mess it up. In order to get the tattoo onto a new layer, you'd need to have the texture to take out of SL into an outside editing program.

You can ask the original creator of the tattoo(s) you want combined to do this for you. They might, or might not. If the tattoos are by different creators, of course, this is much harder than if they're all by the same person.

Otherwise, you'll probably end up needing custom tattoos. (Since it's not really a good idea to ask someone to copy someone else's work, even if it is just for you and something you've already paid for.)

To be very clear .... If you or someone other than the person who created the original tattoos is going to try and combine them into new, custom tattoos, you will need to have full perm versions of all of them.  If you do not have MODify pemission, you will not be able to alter them in any way.  If you do not have COPY permission, you will not be able to save the original as a separate tattoo.  If you do not have TRANSfer permission, you will not be able to give copies to someone else to make your composite in Photoshop.  Your best bet is to use tattoos that were all made by the same artist and to convince that person to do the custom work of combining them for you.

In any case, Answers is not the right place to look for someone to do the work.  We are here to help answer questions about how SL works, or to sympathise and try to help when it doesn't.
