Lost items disappeared into grid

Lost 2 items in grid, not in area search or in my inventory.. one of which has not shown back up in months, the other, same thing happened to it just now. What now?

I can't opine about what occurred months ago with your first issue concerning lost inventory but I can for today's issue:

I appears your item is lost due to some issue with the servers (unscheduled maintenance, meaning something went wrong and the grid monkeys are working on fixing it as I type).  File a support ticket with LL.  It may be possible to recover your item but don't get excited since it's unlikely.
