RC Magnum Issue ( CCS )

IT has come to the attention of the CCS community that the RC Magnum server release has turned up some 2 year bugs that is effecting the meters from working on sims with this.


So we are adivised to have the sims changed back out of the RC release channel back to the lets just use the word standard channel releases.


As a estate manager for some of these effected CCS sims.  How do i go about requestion this to be rolled back I have looked though the information on the support portal and the closest thing i can find is the rollback request form which isn't really want i want to do i need to have the simulator changed over on the sim.


If somebody could point me in the correct direction that would be great thanks

I forgot to include the message we sent out to all the other people ( ie: sim owners etc ) in the network might help

 

Current  Second Life RC Magnum build

Hey all, if you are seeing a lot of CCS errors with the specific error being "Too many llDialog requests. Throttled until region average falls"....it is very likely that your sim is on the current RC Magnum test channel.

Please have your sim owners request that their sims be removed from this channel if you are seeing this error, it seems like the newest RC Magnum test build has dug up a 2 year old bug. Jira info: https://lists.secondlife.com/pipermail/jira-notify/20

Appreciate the update and I will surely look into it the issue is we don't have time to wait for LL to issue a fix we run a 24/7 rp/combat sim and there is more then a few and we can have zero downtime for these kind of LL issues.

 

so moving to the standard channel is probably going to be our best bet

So why would you make a thread here?

File a Linden Lab support ticket instead!

Well, Lets see if you bothered to read the very first post i made.  I clearly stated atleast I think i did that there is no place for a estate manager to submit such a ticket only to do a roll back.

 

So I was asking where we could submit this at.  We have already taken care of it so really this is a mute subject.

 

But for future references if you going to ask somebody why then did they bother to make a thread it does extremely help all parties involved if you bother to read what is even posted in the thread
