they have such good music..

"pictures of you" is my favorite and really made me a cure fan..

i just love this song..it's really special to me =)

 

there was a small point where before my husband and me were living together that we had broken up..

long before we were married...

he taped the lyrics and a cd with this song  burnt on it to my steering wheel of my jeep..

i didn't listen to it right then because it  was morning when i found it and i was going to work and didn't want to read or hear or see anything from him at the time..

so i just pulled it off and threw it to the other seat..

 

 i did on my way home..i never heard it before then..but it hit me very hard the words..

it had me in tears so bad that i had to pull over into a parking lot because i could barely see the road..

i listened to it..it must have been 5 or 6 times..then when i got home i listened to it more..then finally called him later that night..

i still have the cd and letter inside a book of special things and pictures i keep..

 

the cure is pretty timeless in music i think..and the words are really strong in a lot of their songs..

My all time Cure fave: Lullaby

The riff is awesome.. so... Cure lol.

the pizzicato is excellent

and the strings are reminiscent of the haunting violin in Zork Nemesis.

(the first amazing computer game I can remember seeing).

i completely forgot about the crow!! lol

i remember going to see the crow with my father..i was in love with branden lee..i kept begging my father to go and see it..

especially once i found out he died making that movie..(heartbroken)

so he finally gave in and took me..

the music was like none i had ever heard..it was like every song on there just fit perfectly and i wanted it..

 

but one song really stuck out more than the rest..and i didn't realize it was the cure until just now..because i hadn't listened to the soundtrack in such a long time..

and after doing these cure searches..i kept seeing the crow..

i just thought it was related stuff..

i have no idea why i never put the two together..but burn was my favorite song on that sound track..it's the main reason i had to get that sound track..

i even bought the movie score the music was so good in that movie..

this was my favorite song and when i heard it in the movie..it made it really extra special..because of branden lee being a part of it when i heard it..

it's just really awsome pure cure..i think at their best ..the crow and the cure and branden lee in his best performance of his life that took his life..they all just went hand in hand..he was my heath ledger as joker when i saw him in that role..can't say enough about the mix of them all together..

 

my favorite fan made crow video..just have to add it when i talk aboutthe crow..

I didn't see the Crow until maybe 2  years after its release. (we rented it or something).

Every single thing about it, the music, the actors, the story, the RL events

absolutely shattered my whole world.

It HAS to be, simply the best movie of all time.

it is..it was trend setting and left a mark in my life just because of the movie as well as all the things that went on around it..

my father loved it also..

when  the crow-city of angels came out..my father was like..ok when do you want to go see it?

hehehe i didn't even have to ask that time..

that was a really good movie also..those two together go well..

but the first ..you just can't have the impact of everything that mixed to make the first so great..

 

 i hate that they made a tv series of it..it just feels like disrespect to such a great story..

that is the only bad thing about studios buying these stories like this..they try to drain every ounce of awesome out of them..

i was like..ok how much thought did they even put into this?

i've never watched an episode of it ..becaue i know they just cheapened it soo much..it's what they do..

 

i remember just laying back in my room at times just  and having this soundtrack on..

this song would be so soothing..

 

i just know they could not do the music or the movies or stories any justice in a tv series..
