how can I get my textures and inventory back

I have lost quite a lot of my inventory, including textures, scuplties and countless other items that were expensive. How can I get them back. I have already done the clearing cache with no luck.

As a sidenote, clearing your cache in the viewer may not be enough. You might have to do it manually from outside SL. It is all explained in this Firestorm KB. The instructions apply to all viewers. Just replace "firestorm" by "secondlife" where needed.
