Then stroll about or watch as strong men & women hone their training for knightly Glory.
Whats that I hear?...The crashing of sword upon shield, Could it be knights practicing?

Perhaps a Blacksmith working their trade? Or a melee field as people hone their skills.

That distinct roar as the crowd cheers their Favorites competitors in games that made for the stuff of legends, turn again and *hiss, thud* as an arrow hits its mark on our archery Range.

See people as vie for the prize or the blessing of the ladies Favor. Courtly Love games are not gone nor is the word Chivalry is not DEAD it lives in all our hearts and minds...So lets be the Dream...Let us Live!

There are many role play opportunities within the castle or surrounding grounds,

ah the village where the smell of the unwashed masses, the food vendors and the ale houses, vie with the smell of the latrines and nature for your attention, chat with our lusty tavern wenches, barter with a blacksmiths. Trade words with a herald to see who has the silver tongue.

Enjoy performances in the theatre. Or laugh at castle fool that roam the streets. Listen to craftsmen, artists, plying their trade,

Look for the good friar as he may try to save your soul, and for the witch who may just try to steal it. You never know what might Pop up next...but then thats part of the suprize of a ren Faire isnt it? *laughs*
