Most radios and similar systems use parcel media.  Basically, they are using a LSL script to do the same thing that you could do "manually" by typing the URL of your media stream into the appropriate box in About Land >>> Sound .  The nice thing about a scripted system is that you don;t have to remember a while stack of URLs for your different streams, and you can switch streams with the touch of a biutton.  The only downside is that the radio has to be owned by whoever owns the land.  If the land is group-owned, that means the group has to own the radio too.  So ......

Open World >>> About Land (sometimes caled Parcel Details in some third party viewers) and click the little box that says Share.  Then click the wrench icon to determine which group you want to share with and, finally, click the Deed button.  Be VERY sure that you have made a backup copy first.  Once you deed the radio to the group, it's not yours any more.  You can get the group to sell it back to you, but you will no longer be the "first owner", so you won't be able to edit its notecards or anything else.  That's why you need a backup copy to work with.  Follow any instructions that came with yiour system and communicate with the creator if you are unsure of what you are doing.
