Erin28Ga Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Hey, I bought a pair of pants that are really low cut and the alpha layer goes above the back of the pants and its driving me nuts!!!!...I contacted the seller and their only answer was that the layer is full perm so i could edit it..Well, I dont know how to edit it...Can anyone help?!?! Thanks!!!
Madeline Blackbart Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 all you have to do is get either photoshop or gimp (gimp being free) and edit the (hopefully included) texture so the area you want solid is white and the area you want clear is invisible then save a png or tga and import.
Codewarrior Congrejo Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Have a look here Erin: http://www.brinksie.com/2011/04/07/how-to-make-an-alpha-layer/ as Madelaine already stated all you can do is to create an own image and replace the needed layer (lower body in your case) with that newly created texture. (this is what the creator meant by it's fullperm = you can replace the textures with own images) Make sure to paint a bit lower then the pants waist-line is. PS: check also if maybe there is a bit of alphalayer in the upper body, if so try disabling / removing this layer maybe solves your problem already. In addition: make yourself a copy of the alpha-layer item before editing it, in case you remove accidentally layers you'd still need.
beanster Potato Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Yes, the alpha texture is included with full permissions. Instructions are here and here and elsewere too ^^
