How can I tell him I'm sorry?

I was at a sim a few weeks ago, and I changed into a giant av, which I had not known was against the rules, because I actually did not know where to get the rules, there was never anything that said where to get the rules, at all. So the sim owner told me to change, cause it was against the rules.

There's this big board that tells what's against the rules, and it didn't say that giant avs were against the rules, so I told him why do I have to change, it's not against the rules, then he gave me a notecard that said the rules on it, and it still didn't say that giant av's were against the rules. There was a hyperlink there, and it would not load for me.

I posted it in the forums, and then I went back the next day and apologized, but then he found the forum post.

 

How do I tell him I'm sorry? I didn't mean to be such a jerk. I was just having a bad day.

Being a jerk happens. It's never a bad idea to apologize, but don't be surprised if your apology hits a brick wall.  You made a mistake -- unknowingly, but a mistake.  Don't beat yourself up.  Learn from it and don't be a jerk next time.
