I've been trying to log in since roughly 6am SL time, it's now 9am SL time. no grid status, until about 3 minutes ago, one appeared about region restarts being slow. That's entirely useful.

Slow Restart For A Small Number of Regions

[Posted 9:05am PDT, 22 April 2013] We’re restarting a small number of regions this morning.  They may be down for slightly longer than a normal restart cycle.   We’ll return all regions to service as quickly as possible.

If you want to be able to see by yourself if there is maintenance, just use this link in the future:
http://status.secondlifegrid.net/

It's much faster then asking others, who have to look it up there as well : )

PS: normally they are in time with the announcements, can just some times be a bit delayed. (In case you already looked on grid status before asking)
