Question

I have quite a few accounts with same email address. one of my accounts will not let me log on. I haven't tried to logon to it in a year or more. actually last year I tried to logon and it wouldn't let me and I tried to get answers as to why and I never found out. So does SL delete unused accounts?

Not as far as I know.  People can usually re-enable old accounts for quite a long time after they are actually closed, so that tells you that Linden Lab doesn't delete even those ones from their files for a long time.  If all you did was walk away and leave an account active but unused, it should be there for ages.

Hello again, MsEve

Check your account is still in existence by looking at the web feeds

http//my.secondlife.com/marigold.devin    (but of course substitute my avatar's name for the one you wish to check exists)

I have no evidence that unused accounts are ever deleted by Linden Lab.

If it was a Premium account, and you did not continue to pay your Premium account fees, then it would be deleted.  Otherwise, not.

Also, if you find the account in Search, but can't log in, it may have been compromised, by a phishing scam or other exploit.  If you suspect this, read the following:
