Question
LandOwner Jules
I have been receiving UCE (spam) from Linden Labs servers.
Normally, I would forward the email to the abuse email alias. RFC 2142 recommends the alias abuse@secondlife.com for this purpose (as well as a number of other common role accounts). I cannot find any reference to email addresses such as this.
The support ticket system is cumbersome and ill-suited to handing UCE complaints. There is no place to file such a request. When I did the best I could, the response appeared to ignore the attached email and request a screen shot.
Does Linden Labs even prohibit such behavior? I don't recall seeing anything in the ToS which specifically prohits users from sending UCE/spam using Linden Labs services.
Or, does having an account on Second Life implicity indicate that you accept that any other user can send you unsolicited commercial messages, at any time, and in any quantity, with no recourse other than to cancel the account?

In response to the answers below:
Linden Labs most definitely ALLOWS UCE spam created by avatars to be sent from their servers.
I cannot find and way for a non-user to submit a complaint.
The instructions are to log in (not possible for someone without a viewer and account). There is an section on the web site which will allow someone, again only if they have an account, to submit a complaint.
So, I ask again, more clearly: how does someone without a Second Life account to access the web site, and without a Second Live Viewer or Account to file a complaint in-world, file a complaint about abuse originating on Linden Lab's servers and being sent out to the Internet at-large?
I cannot find any of the standard role email accounts and no area of the web site which describes how to file a complaint.
Or, should I instruct the people who've asked me to ask to file complaints with the Internet Service Providers with whom Linden Lab's does business to file abuse complaints in the hopes that, if Linden Labs does not correct the situation, their providers will excersize the cancellation clause and cease providing Internet services to Linden Labs?
