Resort Attendant

Working hours: Varies.
Working days: Tues, Weds, and Friday.

Job Description:
This position will mainly involve handling incoming customer requests by Instant Message, and Group Chat. You will also be responsible for sending out group invites upon customer request.

The successful candidate will have a friendly attitude, previous experience in real estate, and a solid experience with Second Life.

Primary tasks:
- Answer questions.
- Display 's products/services to clients and explain the features.
- Greet the customers.
- Have conversations.
- Make sure that people are directed to various parts.
- Make the guests of Sky Manor Resort feel welcome.
- Promote sales through advertisements and participation in multiple listing services.
- Provide courteous & efficient customer service to guests.

Skills / requirements:
- 6 months or older.
- A positive attitude.
- A strong desire to provide exceptional customer experience.
- Active Listening, Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Flexibility is a must.
- Interpersonal skills are also very important.
- Knowing what needs to be done and having the drive to do it without being told.
- Microphone is not required but is a plus.
- Second Life basic skills required.
- Speaking Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Strong sales skills are also required for jobs in this occupation.
- Ultimately, persuading customers to buy and convincing clients.
- Well kept appearance.

- Communication Skills, voice is a plus: These duties require plenty of communication, whether you are talking with co-workers, employers or guests. Thus, a person must know how to effectively express ideas, maintain discussions and provide directions. This means the individual must know how to speak clearly so that guests and co-workers can understand and provides answers to conveys concise information. For example, when a guest asks about the rules, the attendant should provide information that is clear and understandable.


- Multi-tasking, Adapting and Organizing: A hostess or host must have good multi-tasking skills. A major part of hosting duties involves performing more than one task at a time. For instance, a host greets guests. Therefore, a person should know how to juggle multiple tasks at once. Since hosting involves constant requests from guests like deeding an objects or changing media url, the individual needs adapting and organizational skills. This means that tasks such as guests' requests and emergencies are placed before any nonessential tasks.


- Customer Service Skills: This position involves working with the public. So the attendant must be comfortable with interacting with guests. Also,  requires customer service skills. For example, the individual must know how to effectively listen to guests, whether they are complaining or happy about the service. If guests are complaining, the attendant must be able to listen and resolve the problem---even if it is apologizing for something that a co-worker did.
