windlight settings and Singularity

Greetings!

I am wondering if I can preset windlight settings on my mainland parcel using Singularity...so far when I use Singularity and go to my land it does not recognize the preset as it does with Phoenix viewer.

Regarding their about page - they do support the general windlight feature - http://www.singularityviewer.org/about

But i can not find an entry about parcel / region windlight for singularity.


Firestorm (the newer phoenix viewer) supports both the new Region Windlight, introduced by LL, and Parcel Windlight, which was introduced with Phoenix Viewer.

Thanks! Yes I can't run Firestorm or SL viewer in my IMAc so am stuck with Phoenix and Singularity.

okay. Yeah the iMacs aren't really strong computers so the older viewers or viewers based on older code like singularity work better on them.

Yeah, true! Singularity works fine for me, just wish I could get it to recognize parcel Windlight settings.

Nope nope nope, you can't do that yet except by a hack the Phoenix team invented which requires maintaining an identical set of windlights to them and abusing the bottom of parcel description field.. overall it is just gross.

 

Wait for LL to actually implement parcel windlight, perhaps make a jira, I can't see one in the system anymore.

Region windlight already has a nice implementation.
