voice to working and I crash when trying to save a picture i take in SL to my hard drive

Since I reinstalled my windows, and put SL back on my PC, I cant get voice to work, even though I have it ticked to activate it in Game, I know my voice works in other programs, just not in SL,  also every time I try to take a photo in game and save it to my hard drive, it crashes my game.... what can I do to fix these issues ? I have installed viewer 2 and firestorm, with same results....

when you reinstalled your Window.. did you checked if Skydrive is actived ?... if yes, disable it... it block some fonctions of SL and typically, makes you crash everytime you try to save a texture or to upload it. 

Skydrive is automatically enabled whith Window 8; so it has to be disabled manually.

Well, the crashing problem is probably easy to solve.  You have most likely run afoul of

Take a good look through the comments in that JIRA.  You'll find a registry patch submitted by Latif Khalifa that works quite well, assuming that you are not risk averse.  If you'd rather not mess with your registry, just disable SkyDrive (or Amazon's Cloud Drive, or the Mac equivalent --- they all do the same thing).
