SL! An ongoing desaster?

Question

After the last restart sl gots the behaviour of a random generator.

 

  • I could log in to my sim (sim capabilities couldn´t granted - or something like that)
  • Now the sim doesn´t rezz since more than a half an hour
  • I cannot delete an object (Cannot derez object due to inventory fault)
  • I cannot rezz an object
  • Nobody can tp to my sim
  • Local chat doesn´t work
  • No possibility to submit a ticket (looses Login details)
  • No change of clothings possible or uncomplete

To be honest: I pay a hell of money and meanwhile I am a bit (ok; not only a bit) annoyed about these ongoing technical problems.

Meanwhile there won´t be ONE day without problems.

I have no idea, wether this is the correct are for that question. If it isn´t I beg for a hint.

Meanwhile I got the hint to use the support chat. Well; thank you for that, but because of the time shift it isn´t online now and creating a ticket doesn´t work (look above).

Thanks for the hint "clearing the cache". First I do, if SL becomes kinkiy is to clear the cache and sometimes to reinstall the viewer and to check the original viewer. It doesn´t become better. In this case it became worse.

Otherwise, you can submit a ticket as follows:

How to report an offline region

  • "This region is offline."
  • "The simulator is offline."
  • "Region not available."
  • "We've got a sim down!"

No matter how you put it, it's the same thing: sometimes a region will go offline, rendering it inaccessible. The reasons are many and various. The important thing is to report it so that Linden Lab can correct the situation.

To report a region as offline, submit a support case. Both basic and premium account holders can submit cases for this particular problem:

  1. Under What type of problem are you having?, select Land & Region.
  2. Under Land & Region, select Report an offline Region.
  3. Enter the region's name and any other pertinent information, such as anything unusual observed before the region went offline
  4. Click Submit.

Linden Lab will address the report as soon as possible.

Regarding your rezzing issues, you may want to clear your cache outside SL then relog to a quiet region to let your inventory fully repopulate:

OK as a beta tester I found that you need to do totally clear out your cache and other configuration areas. Follow the clean installation instructions posted below:
