How do I crop a video on a website when streaming it to SL?

Is there any way to "crop" a section of a website when streaming it onto SL? When I load up the video onto my SL screen it shows the entire website, rather than just the media located inside it. Is there any way to remove all that so just the media is displayed?

It is possible, but it depends on the location you're streaming from. Many websites supply 'embed' links for uploaded videos. A friend compiled this list of URL masks that will change a video from these services to 'full screen' or 'embed' mode. Substitute XXXXXXXX for the video key, if applicable. For other sites, you may need to track down the correct way to do it.
