Question

Posted

I've seen so much Model Avatars, that stay online always. It's like its offline, but it says its online and the avatar is inworld. Maybe you don't get my question. I don't even know how to explane. Well like the YDEA Models. They are always online. But noone is "behind" them, like there is no person, who is with the avatar. Is there some kind of a way to make a avatar stay always online? I'm very sorry, if you don't understand. This is my second language and sometime is hard to explane and etc. Thanks anyway!

These models can be bots (also know as "scripted agent"):

A bot is an avatar which is controlled by a machine, rather than by a human. This can have various uses, such as to perform group invitations (which isn't possible via LSL), perform as a non-player character (NPC) in a roleplaying game, as mannequin in a shop etc.

Or they can even be a "real" person who set her timeout to "never". :smileyhappy:
