Aditi Upload perfect - Agni instant crash

I have tested and tested and just wanting to know if anyone has had this happen and might know why.

I have a pretty simple build. Uploaded perfectly on Aditi. Textured fine etc. When I try to upload on Agni (24 hours now of trying) the FS viewer freezes and won't upload (this happens sometimes so not a biggie). When I try to upload using the LL viewer which has been the method needed for my last few Agni uploads on Agni, I immmediately crash when I open the Windows Explorer (maybe seven tries in all).

First I thought it was just a server code change and would get fixed, but the same this morning. I tried an older file that I had uploaded before and it didn't crash using LL viewer. So there appears to be something about that file. I am going to try saving the dae again, but the very same file was just fine on Aditi.

I have experienced crashes at that point (as soon as opening the file) when I used a collada file with a mistake in it - when the number of triangles in theb triangle list doesn't match the number in the <polylist> tah. I made a jira saying it should be detected with an error message, not a crash. However, I don't think this should ever happen unless you are manually editing the collada, as I was. It may be the crash is an error in the collada dom library that is not caught by the LL code. In that case, a similar effect could happen with other collada errors.

Not really. and yes it makes some odd crashes at times. I even had that sometimes when accessing the file-explorer for regular image uploads.

But it still might be related with something going on on Aditi:

the aditi account pages are erroring, and giving server errors.

Don't know if they fixed it since yesterday. But it was completely broken at this point. So might have some influences on the aditi grid as well.

Well I made a new DAE file from my last blend file and it uploaded fine. My puzzlement was that the exact same file of yesterday uploaded PERFECTLY ON ADITI and crashed on Agni both yesterday and today.   There must be something in that file that didn't save quite correctly. I wouldn't have been so puzzled if I had been crashing on Aditi .

So we don't know the answer but glad it worked. I haven't been able to upload on Agni with Firestorm in well over a week. LL viewer is fine. FS works fine on Aditi.  But at least I can move on now.
