Welcom island

Dear Linden Crew.

I have a small request. On welcome Island in 6th step room there is a wall with information how to get to Destination Window.

Unfortunately it is still about SL viewer series 2 with Basic and Advanced mode. We have now version 3.4.5.

Could you update that wall for new residents?

The same problem one is on all Welcome Islands

This is a resident-to-resident Answer service, so we are all SL residents like you.  Lindens never visit here, so they won't see your suggestion.  The way to propose a change to Second Life is to submit a JIRA report.  The developers review all suggestions there.

Welcome Island is of only historical interest these days, just like the older version of the island, with a path you follow outdoors to several easy tutorials.

Nowadays, new avatars arrive at "Destination Island" which has NO tutorials, only a set of doors leading to different classes of destinations.

Because the Welcome Islands are no longer used by newcomers, it's unlikely that LL will update them.  Send your newbie friends to resident-run help areas like Caledon Oxbridge University or White Tiger Help Island instead!
