How can I make the pause/play button in the Damani Media Viewer work?

I've tried with the latest Catznip, Firestorm and SL viewers, but the pause/play button won't react at all. I can stop the video and start it all over again, but not pause and start from that point.

 

The creator won't reply, so I'm asking here.

Unfortunately, only the creator knows.  Nobody else will have the permissions to open the script and see how it works, or what might be wrong.  All I can suggest are the obvious "kick the tires" solutions.  Take it back to inventory and rez it again, or just rez your backup copy.  Try rezzing it on another sim.  Read the instruction notecard that came with it for useful hints........
