GoonSquad griefing using my username..

I was in Inspire space park, minding my own buisness, and out of nowhere this poofer with particles named "goonsquad" and started using my username as a way for it to grief, I did not, and I would never say this, but this item used my username and started posting "goonsquad is Raping yo sims F***** yo b******." I then teleported home, should I be worried about it?

I don't see your username in the chat spam you quoted.

How is the device using your name?  Does it say that you are its owner?  Can you verify that by right clicking it and choosing Edit?

Add more information to your post by clicking the Options/Edit button at the top right of the post.

EDIT:  From Rolig's answer, I suspect that the object is saying it's owned by you...which, if you rezzed it, is true.  Follow her link to instructions on how to find and eliminate it.

There's a script in the object that looks for a nearby avatar and names the object after that avatar temporarily. You won't get in any trouble for it - anyone who's familiar with objects like this can find out who the real owner is. The actual text should have been in color, which means that an object is "speaking" instead of an avatar.
