I also enjoy books, gardening, and just general conversation. I'd also like to learn to build. Tex Monday Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Welcome to SL, both of you My first suggestion in finding new friends is to go into the search function at the bottom of the screen and look for groups that share your interests. Once you find it, join...most groups are free to join...then start a conversation. Maybe IM the moderator. I'm sure there are people there who would love to friend you and help you out. Good luck.
