Kazunori Takakura Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I use Linux and want to know why is it so damned difficult for the viewer just to read the system fonts I already have set up in fontconfig? Which one of these numerous XML files do I have to change just to tell it to use a particular font when I speak in Japanese?I feel that the viewer itself should have an easy way to change this...
Baloo Uriza Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 It's not in an XML file, it's in the debug settings. Note that SL uses Unicode, so any font that has the characters in the range you need will work. Be aware that the font that people reading your text are using may not necessarily have that character range (such as, annoyingly, trying to type in Cherokee; Windows fonts typically exclude this character range...).
