Will Linden Labs bring back the cornfield? We need it again!

People keep crashing and using laggers. Some also use illegal items and I think they really need to be sent there. Will Linden be bringing it back. I think it was a great idea and kept SL safer.

The Cornfield as a punishment seemed like a good idea in theory, but turned out to be like the British ASBO, something a lot of residents wore as a badge of honour, to the point of doing things on purpose so they could be banished there and be with their friends.

Replicas of The Cornfield sim do occasionally open around Halloween.

SL is as safe as ever it was, but like with any large community, it does rely on the residents all playing a part in being a good neighbour and knowing when it's appropriate to submit an abuse report, and realising a lot of problems can be solved by auto-return, banning, muting/blocking and simply teleporting away from the place of "danger".
