how long before i can send my linden dollars to my virwox account?

i am new to second life. i was following the advice of virwox to be able to fund my second life account and then pay at a virwox terminal in order to get linden dollars into my virwox account. but i have tried and tried, only to be declined by the risk police. and i am unable to convert my linden back into usd through second life, because of limits imposed and enforced by second life. so far second life is worse than my real one.

Your account needs to be 30 days old in order to convert Lindens to dollars and probably other transactions. This is to reduce the risk of people trying to launder money by moving large amounts of real money in and out of SL quickly.

The "risk police" is Linden Lab's Risk API, warning Virwox and other third party exchanges that they may be dealing with someone who is engaged in fraud, like money laundering or running a scam operation in Second Life.  The people who are most likely to do that have very young accounts, espcially if they are moving large amounts of money, so LL caps the activity.  You can request a review of your trading limits by submitting a support case:

1. Under What type of problem are you having? select Billing.
2. Under Billing, select LindeX Billing and Trading Limits Review Reqest.
3. Fill out the remaining fields as instructed, then click Submit.

They'll review your request and get back to you within five business days.
