Nice cold pictures Hippie.  animated-smileys-winter-017.gif

I'm glad too that the snow is melting fast.

In my place we had third winter in row with lots (too much!) of that white fluffy stuff.

oh yes Coby ! awesome sunset !!!! The reflect on the water is just amazing ! ill need to visit this place soon...

It's pretty amazing how different Windlights transform the scenery.  With the default Windlight setting that scene wasn't very interesting.  That special Windlight made all the difference.

(I used some Photoshop magic too.)  :smileywink:

Wandering around, I've found a nice little home to squat for a moment. Listening at some good oldies on this lovely gramophone. :smileyhappy:

Oh wow!  Hippie hands Coby a towel!

 Peace!

Thanks Hippie, I needed that.  :smileyhappy:

/me feels dry again.

That rain was pretty realistic one.  I've never seen rain like that in SL before.

It was not made with particles (I verified it by turning off particle display in the viewer; no effect, it was still raining).

I wonder how the rain was made?   I could even see the rain hitting the wet ground making those little circles.

Pretty awesome rain it was.

It looks so real.  I have rain but it is particles!  Interesting!

I went there again.  I think I solved the mystery.  :matte-motes-nerdy:

Pressing Ctrl-Alt-T I noticed that there were lots of thin vertical planes on the place where it rained.  So, I think those planes have animated rain texture on them.  And on the ground there is a plane with animated texture creating the illusion that the rain drops are hitting the ground.  Very cool effect.

Thanks Trinity.  :matte-motes-smile:

I was mesmerized by that rain.  I spent about half an hour in that place staring the rain from different angles with different Windlight settings.
