i cant log on sl......  it gives me an erroe that say secondlife cant be accessed from this computer....

i was wondering why i was on it yesterday and now i cant log on if you guys can help me ill be really thankful............

need more info, what viewer, what is your connection, can you get to the internet on that computer?

In general, it means that your computer has been banned from Second Life.

This could be because you committed some horrible Terms of Service violation, or it may be a mistake on the part of Linden Lab.

yes i can get on the internet i use like 3 differemt viewers to get on i use the secondlife viwer the firestorm and the phoenix

Check your email for a ban notice, first off. That message sometimes appears if your IP has been banned. If you haven't received any notice of that, try refreshing your IP address; you can google instructions for how to do that, if you don't know how. It could just be a mix-up, it's not uncommon.

 

Also, try doing a clean re-install of SL. Delete ALL of your viewers, then re-install just one. When you use multiple viewers, information can get very confused.

Lindal is correct.  On rare occasions, however, you can get that message if your router has somehow fouled up.  Try rebooting it by unplugging it from the power for a few minutes.  When you power up again, it should grab a fresh IP address and, if you are very lucky, solve your access problem.  If not, then do as Lidal recommended and file a support ticket.

Can you provide more info?

Did you get an email from Governance saying you were banned? If that's so, then you do have to file an appeal ticket via support.
