How to stop a recurring ad?

Hello. Anyone know how to stop an ad?  I put an ad in SEARCH > CLASSIFIEDS, under employment for help wanted some weeks ago, selected the check box to have the ad automatically renew each week, now I no longer need the ad but I don't see a way to stop or delete the ad, meanwhile each week it renews and takes money from my account.

open the ad it self to edit it and turn off (uncheck the box) Auto renew. When the week runs out it should stop renewing and delete it self

thanks for replying, but, i have looked and looked at that ad, and there is nowhere to check or uncheck, that option is simply not there :smileyindifferent:

should be there from your profile when you click to edit it. If not then I would suggest submit a ticket if you are using the official viewer.

If you are using the LL viewer or most V3-style TPVs, make sure you are getting to your ad under Me>Picks.

If you are using the Firestorm viewer, they changed some menu names, so look instead for Avatar>Picks

From these, Go to the Classified tab, click the expand arroe in the right for the ad you want to stop, then press the Edit button way at the bottom. You may need to scroll down to see the Auto Renew box.  There is also a trash can icon if you want to stop it immediately.

 

If you are usng a V1 style viewer like Singularity or Cool, go to Edit>Profile, click on the Classified tab, and find your ad there. Again the checkbox for renew will be near the bottom.

I use AdBlockPlus.
