Hi, not sure what is happening but I've had this problem for a while. It is on both the SL Viewer and Singulairty Viewer which is my main viewer of choice.  As you can see in my attached image, on my face you can see the Grey. GStrip.png

I really do not want to use a facelight, I thought perhaps it may be a setting with either viewer. I have Googled for an answer but got poor results, where most turned up as a grey (unloaded) avi, which is not the case here. Any thoughts?

What I have done to try and resolve:

Cleared all Cache's

Restarted my Sim

Changed Enviroment settings

Rebaked Avatar

Changed skins

Changed shapes

The default lighting in SL is very poor. Pretty much everybody experiences these dark shadows under those settings. It's the way the "daylight" reflects on your face that causes them. A brighter daylight setting eliminates the issue. Change your windlight setting - I use Nam's Optimal Skin 2 as my preferred setting. I don't use Singularity, so while I fairly certain you CAN change your windlight settings on that viewer, I'm not sure where that option would be or what the available windlight settings are.

Only you will see the changes; everyone else will see you under whatever windlight settings they use.
