no, you cant join more than 42 groups. But as an alternative, you may join subscrible o matic groups when they are available, they dont count in your group allowance, and so you still can recieve updates from those ones.

No, although there are Subscribo-matic systems that some merchants use instead of formal groups.  They are like mailing lists.  FWIW, until fairly recently we were restricted to 25 groups, so 42 is a big increase.  Learn to live with it.  For now, anyway, you have no other choice.
