How do we get our old group activatived

Hello,

About three years ago Raoul Macpherson and I set up a group.  It was MacSnowman Designs; however, when we try to create it, it says it already exists and when we do a search for it, it says not found.  We were the only two members, and we both left the group.  

We think that  the name is probably sitting on a db somewhere which prevents the re-use of the name but there is no  group of that name.

If possible we would like to use - MacSnowman Designs again.

If you both left the group, it has been disbanded and there is no way to re-create it under the same name. So what you are asking for is impossible, sorry. From the KB:

After 48 hours with a membership of one or zero, a group is disbanded automatically.

Note: Once you disband a group, you cannot recreate it. You can create a new group, but the new group cannot use the exact same name as the dissolved group.

What is kinda funny because even RL phonenumbers or car plate numbers are given out again after 1 year ...
