im having trouble downloading the update for SL viewer. it says "error extracting files"

Since the new update came, Ive been having trouble downloading the SL viewer. It gets almost all the way done and then says "error extracting files." Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I just keep having the same problem. Please help, I cant play the game at all. I also \dont know much about computers.

Maybe the installer is broken. Did you try to download the latest version manually from here: https://secondlife.com/support/downloads
