SPEAK button disabled regardless of settings

Not using voice myself, I cannot directly give you an answer, but orientate you to Nalate's blog where you may find some very helpful advices.

As a last resort, if everything fails, you mey have to consider a complete clean reinstall of the viewer to reset the default setting. Good luck!

I have already tried all of that, the speak button will not switch on :-(

I am sorry about your issue. Are you sure you are on a voice enabled land? (excuse me, it sounds obvious but one never knows...) Please read more here about voice chat:

Also, give a try to another viewer such as Firestorm and see if you're having the same issue. But in any case, a full clean reinstall should normally fix it, as voice is enabled by default in the viewer.

Adding to Valeries post, have you set "push to talk" or allways use voice on voice enabled places ?
