Two ways.

1.  In About Land/Options, check the box for "everyone can rez here".  Don't LEAVE it like that, though, or random visitors will litter your land with stuff.

2.  In About Land/Options, check the box for "only group members can rez here".  Then in the General tab of About Land, click the Set to Group button, while wearing the group tag of the group you want to have rezzing rights.  Then be sure to invite your friend to that group.

(You can Deed the land to the group, too.  But that is not necessary, and there are some other things you should think about before deeding land to a group.)

Hi ShortCake.

OKies here are the steps:

1) Make a Land Group for your parcel - Name it something sweet and very YOU!

 2)  Deed the land to the group.

 3) Invite your friend into the group.

http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Creating-managing-moderating-and-disbanding-groups/ta-p/700111#Section_.2

4) Make sure that the Everyone Role is allows to Create Objects.

Now when you invite other friends into your Land Group, they will have the ability to rez objects as well.

You either have to allow Everyone to rez items there (not a good idea) by checking the appropriate box in About Land >>> Options, or you have to

1. Create a group with yourself and an alt as the owners.  In the Roles tab of the group panel, be sure that Always allow to create objects is assigned to the role  Everyone.

2. Open About Land >> General and set (not deed!)  the land to your new group.

3. Open About Land >> Options and check Group next to the Build option.

4. Invite your friend to join the group.
