I am being constantly bombarded with IMs, and they fill up my screen, and I can't stop them.

Does anyone know what I can do to stop this? it appears to be from a group, wanting me to accept or deny enrollment in a
school, and when I click on the site they give, it takes me to my land, and says the invite is from me.
And they are coming non-stop, and are filling up my screen, and I am miserable. :(

Who are they from, and what do they say?  Are they from a person, a group, or an object?

just mute the object.  Maybe it's some dumb 'grief' object or other but they all mute easy
